When a mother cobra is about to lay eggs, it builds the egg a nest (only cobras build nests). When the baby is ready to break out of it's eggshell it grows a small horn to crack the shell. When it finally gets out of the shell it eats the rest of the egg. As soon as the snake gets out of it's egg it is able to use it's venom to kill it's prey. After a couple of months it is able to fend for itself. once fully grown the snake is able to start the reproduction process again. |
