On this page I will give you some facts on how a cobra eats, uses its venom, and senses its prey through heat and vibrations. To find food the cobra senses vibrations made through the ground by other animals. It does this because it does not have good eyesight. When a cobra gets closer to its prey it senses it by its body heat. When a cobra gets close enough to its prey that it can see it it attacks. Depending on the type of cobra it may spit venom into the victims eyes and
attack or it may strike with its deadly teeth. After killing its prey it gulps
it down whole.
